Not every roof is right for solar PV installation please click here to check your roof suitability – there are three main points to consider when considering a Live Solar PV installation, they are :-
- Southeast to southwest facing roof pitch
- 30 – 40 degree roof pitch
- Unshaded roof (just 3% of shading can reduce panel efficiency by 25%)
- Free unobstructed roof space
All planning applications will be dealt with by Live Solar and normally planning is not required. Listed building and homes in conservation areas are a little bit more stringent.
If upon our inspection of your roof Live Solar find that it does not meet our requirements there is still the option to purchase the panels outright.
